Intro.
Hello!
My name is Yuri and I like curry. This is my second redesign of this site. It's Antarctica themed. Along with this is hopefully a more appropriate look and content. I'm getting old and people are looking up my name. This is truly sad. If you know me in real life, tell me if you found my website organically! I'd love to know.
I'm interested in pursuing Computer Science in the future. I started coding with scratch since elementary school and I've been dabbling in a lot of things. Web design is fun but it is not what I want to do for work.
Why Antarctica themed? Ha, I'm not sure myself. I think it provides a nice color scheme. Blues with whites and an accent of red. The penguins also make a nice motif. My affinity for penguins half comes from Wasted Penguinz to be honest... Someone take me to Antarctica.
This website was home grown with imagination, raw css + js, and nights dreaming of code.
Gaming
Too high of a GPA to be a gamer. I kid. Somewhat. My most hated game is Rainbow Six Siege. I don't play it anymore.

I have dabbled in game development a tiny bit but I haven't gotten far. I really like the Touhou series and I want to make a bullet hell game. Maybe I'll link it here.
I play a lot of mobile gacha games. They are better for the little time I have. Arknights (not Endfield) is my all time favorite. Some others I play are Umamusume and rhythm games.
Programs
I'm a generalist at heart. I can't help but pick up another thing once I've understood the surface level parts of a program.
I used to be a streamer on Twitch back in the day. Should I be ashamed to say that I was a Vtuber? Not sure. I know how to use Live2D Cubism (which I hope to implement here once I know how) and Vroid Studio. I've made plenty of models before but they are not public.
My preferred drawing program used to be IbisPaint on mobile. I found Photoshop to be more fun even if I am using my school's license.
My favorite video editing tools, if I even have the dedication to make a video, are Capcut desktop for it's ease of use (though it is comically greedy) or DaVinci Resolve for larger projects. After Effects is an option I am keeping my eye on as well.
Widgets
One of my guilty pleasures is collecting random html elements to insert. I want to say I'm an amateur vexillologist. Currently I have 5 flags in my collection and it will grow until I have no more surface area. I would love to travel when I'm older. Where are you from?

This was long overdue for an update I think. I don't like to start projects unless I have a good theme to work off of and when I finally got the idea for this one I immediately capitalized on it. Changing everything wasn't as hard as I thought. Thank you past Yuri for organizing things in a way that made sense.

Hey! It's finally up! Holy it took forever to configure the domain and suddenly fix all the things for mobile. It is done! I am embarrassed I spent my christmas trying to fix these problems.

Almost a year! I changed mostly everything about this website in hopes of showing off some new skills. Actually that's a lie. I still reuse a lot of elements from the old one.
